STORE POLICY

 

1. DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATIONS

1.1 In these terms and conditions:

  • Reference to “we” and “us” is a reference to Gehna.co.uk, unless stated otherwise.

  • Reference to “you” is a reference to the individual purchasing our products.

  • “Contract” refers to the contract between you and us for the sale and purchase of goods.

  • “Goods” refer to any item you have purchased from us.

  • “Terms” means these terms and conditions.

1.2 These terms are the terms and conditions which we contract for the sale of goods. They form an integral part of the contract between you and us. If we agree to vary any of the terms, the variation must be in writing and confirmed by our representative and you.

2. PRICE & MATERIAL

2.1 All published prices are subject to change at any time without prior notice.

2:1 All jewellery pieces are costume jewellery pieces made using brass metal. If you require hypo-allergic jewellery, please do not purchase our costume jewellery. When we refer to our jewellery pieces as 'gold' or 'silver,' please note that we are referring to the colour of the metals used. No items of ours are plated with gold or silver.

 

3. ORDERING GOODS ONLINE

3.1 You warrant to us that all information which you are required to provide when ordering our goods online is accurate and complete in all respects at the time of the order, and that this information relates to you/the person placing the order and not to any third party.

3.2 Any error in any ordering process due to technical or other reasons beyond our control entitles us not to treat the order as being binding on us.

 

4. PRIVACY

4.1 If you place an order, you will have to provide personal information to us. We will not disclose this information to any third party without your consent, except for the purpose of processing the order and arranging delivery.  We do not store our customer's financial details.

 

5. PAYMENT

5.1 All payment for goods and for the cost of packaging and delivery must be made before the goods are dispatched/delivered.

5.2 Payments made online will need to be made by credit card, debit card, PayPal and Apple Pay. Any fraudulent or unauthorised payment/order made on our website needs to be reported to us within 48 hours - this is to ensure that orders are not shipped or processed. Please contact us by emailing us as soon as possible for us to be able to cancel your order

5.3 It is important you enter the correct delivery and email address at checkout. It is helpful if you enter your contact number at checkout so that we can contact you should we need to; otherwise you will not hear from us. If you have accidentally entered an incorrect address or email and wish to change it - we will cancel the order and request you to place the order with the correct details to avoid confusion and delays to your order.

 

6. DELIVERY

6.1 We will give you an estimated delivery date for the goods purchased, but no times or dates provided by us are guaranteed.

6.2 We will arrange for packing, and we will decide on the method of delivery either by post, courier or otherwise.

6.3 Please record an unboxing video (full 360 angles) when you’ve received a package from us. The unboxing video is necessary as proof for damage cases, so please ensure you record it in clear lighting. 

6.4 The unboxing video should include the showing of the damaged part/product with the original delivery packaging

6.5 You must notify us promptly and in any event within 24 hours of receipt of any goods if they appear to be damaged in transit. In those circumstances, you must also keep all packaging, as this may be required when making a claim.

6.6 Any items damaged in transit will either; be required to be sent back to us for a full refund or can be sent back for fixing. Postage will need to be paid for by the customer
 

7. RETURNS

7.1 Please note: Nose chains/pieces, earrings, earrings as part of a tikka set or necklace set cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons. 

7.2 You must take great care of all goods in your possession and return them to us, appropriately packaged to avoid damage, within 7 days from the cancellation date. 

7.3 We will refund the purchase price to you within 30 days of the cancellation notice, but we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee and any other costs we incur in connection with the return of the goods.

7.4 In the case of goods which are made and supplied to your specification or which have been personalised for you, you will not have the right to cancel the contract.

7.5 Items returned must be sent back new and unused. If not, we reserve the rights to retain the payment made for the goods.

7.6 Items should be returned in their original packaging to ensure they are adequately protected in transit.

7.8 There is a zero tolerance policy for the return of earrings and nose chains/pieces due to hygiene reasons. This includes earrings as part of a necklace or tikka set.  If your earrings are faulty or damaged on arrival, please email at gehn_a@hotmail.com within 24 hours of receiving your package, so we can help resolve this problem. 

 

8. FAULTY GOODS

8.1 Goods are classified as faulty if they are received damaged. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.

8.2 If you would like to exchange a faulty item, please be aware that we can only replace it for an item of the same value or higher, subject to availability. Where possible, we will offer to repair faulty items.

 

9. LATE RETURNS

9.1 Goods returned outside the above timeframes will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer.

10. CANCELLATION POLICY

Changed your mind about an order you’ve placed? No problem, we are happy to cancel the order within 2 hours of the order being placed on our website. Please email us at gehnaboutique@outlook.com

 

11. WARRANTIES AND LIABILITY

11.1 All items on our website are artificial costume jewellery pieces - items are NOT gold or silver plated. When we refer to 'gold or silver,' we are referring to the colour of the base plating. If you have a jewellery allergy to artificial jewellery, please do not place an order. Pieces are not Hypo-allergic and therefore not suitable if you have allergies to artificial jewellery.

11.2 We will not take any responsibility for damages that have occurred to jewellery pieces post delivery. Jewellery pieces are delicate and require aftercare. Please do not spray perfumes or sprays directly on the purchased jewellery pieces, and do not store in direct sunlight. Keep stored in dust free bag or plastic box. Please contact us if you have any questions prior to purchasing.

11.3 We do not accept any responsibility for any wear and tear, accidental damage or failure by you or any third party to the purchased goods.

 

12. GENERAL

12.1 Entire Agreement: These Terms govern our relationship with you and in accepting them, you confirm that no other arrangement, agreement or representation applies.

 

13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Where the Goods include designs or works of art, these are prepared by a designer or artist who owns the copyright in those works. You have no right to make any copies or adaptations of any such Goods.

 

14. PROMOTIONAL CODES

14.1 Only one promotional code can be used at any given time, unless otherwise stated.

14.2 Under no circumstances can the value of a discount code be deducted from an order if the code is defective or out of date. No replacement codes will be issued in this case.

14.3 When an order is placed using a promotional code and contains a number of items, the value of the discount is spread over each item.

14.4 Any refund of an item purchased using a promotional code will be reduced by the value of the discount attached to it. The discount will not be refunded.

These Terms and the Contract between us are governed by English law.

15. RETURNS POLICY

15.1 We do accept returns however there are some pieces that cannot be return for hygiene reasons; earrings, necklaces, nose rings

 

16. RISK AND OWNERSHIP

16.1 The risk of loss or damage to goods once delivered is passed on to you. 

16.2 Ownership in all goods remains with us until full payment of all amounts due to us have been received from you.

16.3 You will be responsible for the safe custody and insurance of all goods in your possession.

16.4 You have no right to re-sell any goods until payment is received in full by us.
